Second entrepreneurs day
Topics: DrDoctor in the news
After a really successful first Entrepreneurs Day, it was great that NHS England have committed to making them a regular feature. The second, which was hosted by The Hub Westminster was very well attended. News had obviously spread about the success of the first!
Tim Kelsey, Beverly Bryant and John Coulthard all spoke about their plans and how SME's can play a major part in delivery. They introduced the Technology Fund, which has £260m earmarked for digital projects in the NHS. Expressions of interest close at the end of this month, and the impression we have is it will be very oversubscribed.
Attendees were then presented with a virtual goodie bag of offers and discounts from a selection of companies and non-profits.
Although there was less discussion than the last event it was well worth attending and a must for any SME interested in being involved with the NHS.
