Junior Sales Executive

A rapidly growing digital health business is looking for a junior sales executive to join its highly motivated team in Waterloo, London.

DrDoctor is a digital health company transforming the way hospitals and patients communicate, by using pragmatic, common-sense technology to tackle the financial strain on the NHS – one hospital at a time. We bring patient correspondence into the 21st century, to automate processes, collect outcomes, measure value and drive down costs. Our platform improves appointment scheduling, increasing clinic efficiency by reducing no-shows and filling empty slots. Currently deployed across 22 major hospitals around the UK including Guy’s and St Thomas’ & Great Ormond Street, to date we have saved the NHS millions of pounds and 3000 years’ worth of missed appointments.

 

The Role

As a sales executive, you will play a crucial role in DrDoctor’s expanding vision to make the NHS more efficient through clever technology. You will discuss the DrDoctor proposition with stakeholders across the NHS and beyond, identifying opportunities for our innovative patient communication platform.

As an early member of our growing team, you will quickly develop into an important member of the business. You will receive dedicated training and on-going support on a wide range of activities from our sales process to understanding the digital health ecosystem to help you achieve.

Key responsibilities:

Research

  • Lead identification and qualification
  • Maintain good in-depth technical product knowledge
  • CRM management, lead generation and data entry
  • Keep up to speed with Industry developments / News etc.

Office-Based Sales Activities

  • Telephone, email and social media contact
  • Responding to online enquiries
  • Nurturing and progressing sales opportunities
  • Organising and executing virtual demos using screen-sharing tools
  • Liaising with the technical and account management teams to organise site visits
  • Conducting Event follow-ups

Field-Based Sales Activities

  • Attend Industry Events and Conferences
  • Coordinate and execute site visits and in-person demonstrations
  • On-site lead generation and qualification

The candidate

We are looking for a recent university graduate who is passionate about healthcare, with a potentially relevant academic background and an interest in digital technology. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, as well as computer / Office skills, and will be able to work on own initiative.
